Who we are

What Agents Pick (whatagentspick.com) is a free public scoreboard of which developer tools AI coding agents pick by default. It is run by Nika Siradze, an individual based in Tbilisi, Georgia. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Nika Siradze as the operator of the site.

Browsing the site

You can read everything on the site without an account and without giving us anything. When you visit:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across sites. We see totals like page views, referrers and countries, not individual people.
• Google Analytics. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic in aggregate: which pages are read, where visitors come from, roughly which country and device they use, and a few actions such as subscribing to the newsletter, clicking a sponsor link or emailing us about a sponsorship. Google sets analytics cookies to tell visits apart. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and we do not send Google your name, email or any other details that identify you. We use these reports only for aggregate stats, not for advertising, and we have not turned on Google advertising features.
• Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as IP address, browser user agent and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.

Cookies

The site uses two kinds of cookies:

• Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> to count visits and returning visitors. They last up to two years.
• Security cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies if it needs to block bots or attacks.

You can opt out of analytics at any time. Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way. Ad and tracker blockers also stop Google Analytics from loading.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. The list is hosted by Buttondown, which stores the address and sends the emails for us. Buttondown may record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. We use your email only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Sponsors and payments

Sponsor placements are paid through Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Creem handles checkout, payment, tax and invoicing, and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see or store full card details.

If you buy a placement, we receive your name, email, company and the placement details from you or from Creem. We use this only to deliver the placement, talk to you about it and keep records for invoicing and tax. We also keep the text, logo and link you send us for the placement.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can reply and follow up. Mail to our support address is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to our inbox.

Why we are allowed to use your data

• Newsletter: your consent when you subscribe. You can withdraw it by unsubscribing.
• Sponsor details: to perform the contract you entered with us, and to meet tax and accounting duties.
• Analytics and logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.

Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We only use these service providers to run the site:

• Cloudflare: hosting, security, analytics and email forwarding.
• Google: website analytics through Google Analytics 4, under Google's privacy policy.
• Buttondown: newsletter list and delivery.
• Creem: checkout, payments, tax and invoicing, as merchant of record.

These providers may process data outside Georgia and outside the EU, including in the United States. We rely on their standard safeguards for those transfers. We will also disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
• Sponsor and invoicing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted.
• Support emails: as long as needed to handle your request.
• Server logs and Cloudflare analytics: kept by Cloudflare for a short, limited period under its own retention rules.
• Google Analytics data: kept for at most 14 months, then deleted automatically by Google.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. If you are in the EU, UK or another place with similar laws, such as under the GDPR, you also have the right to data portability, to object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email support@whatagentspick.com. We reply within 30 days, and usually much faster. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, when the law requires it.

Children

The site is for developers and businesses. It is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update it on this page and change the date at the top. See also our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
